Hurford Hardwood Pty Ltd is a well established company manufacturing a wide range of Australian hardwood products. We are currently seeking applications for forklift drivers and mill laborers at our drymill operation in Lismore NSW.

Responsibilities of the roles include but not limited to:

  • Safe manual handling of timber
  • General labouring
  • Processing and packing work

To be successful for this role you must possess the following:

  • Current forklift license would be an advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Good literacy & numeracy skills for accurate order picking
  • Ability to work as part of the team and individually
  • Be physically fit and able to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good work ethic
