We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse & Purchasing Officer to join our team in Dandenong South. The ideal candidate will bring hands on warehouse and purchasing experience and strong admin skills. You'll be working and partnering with stakeholders, building supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholders

·      Negotiating with suppliers to achieve best outcomes in regard to price, product and service

·      Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet their purchasing needs

·      Identify and implement strategies to reduce wasteful spending and minimise costs

·      Ensuring all products purchased meet the minimum quality and safety standards

·      Placing orders with suppliers and confirming delivery schedules

·      Perform loading/unloading of stock as required

·      Provide the print room with stock as required

·      Ensure key inventory reports are produced daily and analysed

·      Managing stocktaking processes and ensuring quality information outcomes

·      Maintain excellent standards of recording and filing all reports, stock adjustments, cycle count sheets and out of stock information

·      Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements

·      A strong commitment to workplace health and safety procedures

  • Ad hoc duties as reasonably required by the company

Skills, Experience and Attributes:

·      Previous experience in warehouse and purchasing roles (essential).

·      Forklift license (essential)

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills.

·      Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

·      High attention to detail and good numerical ability.

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office and systems.

·      Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
