Conquest is a private equity real estate firm with holdings in both Sydney, Australia and London, UK.

With 21 years of experience delivering institutional real estate across three core sectors—Residential, Retail and Hotels—the firm is strategically positioned to capitalise on opportunities in both markets.

Due to our exponential growth, we are creating a new role within the business - Retail Leasing Executive

The Role:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Field and manage all leasing enquiries
  • Securing new tenants and executing leasing deals across convenience-based retail assets
  • Managing renewals, casual leasing opportunities and re-leasing strategies
  • Partnering with key stakeholders including leasing agents and internal teams
  • Maintaining a strong pipeline through active prospecting and market engagement
  • Tracking tenant performance and contributing to centre planning initiatives
  • Re-negotiating existing leases to maximise gross income
  • Ensure low vacancy, along with rental growth and low incentive capital
  • Working on remixing & adding new precincts into the asset
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of shopping centre precincts
  • To maximise rental growth on lease renewals
  • To develop & implement leasing plans and strategies
  • Work in partnership with key internal & external stakeholders including centre teams and retailers

Candidate profile:

The successful applicant will have:

  • 3 years + demonstrated experience in retail leasing or shopping centre environments
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Ability to build relationships with tenants, agents and internal stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for retail and activation
  • Confident communicator with a strong drive to deliver results

This is a full time position located at the group's head office in Sydney's inner-west. Culture fit is of utmost importance - you must be a team player, genuine and positive. Resilience and a can-do attitude are a must.
