Overview The Accounting Internship is a vital role within our finance team that provides hands-on experience and mentorship in the accounting field. The intern will assist in various accounting tasks, helping to ensure that the financial operations of the organization run smoothly and efficiently.   • Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
  • Support daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping tasks.
  • Help in reconciling bank statements and ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Participate in internal audits and compliance checks.
  • Provide support in the invoice processing and accounts payable functions.
  • Contribute to tax preparation and filing processes.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Participate in financial data entry and database management.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Adhere to all company policies and accounting regulations.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams and independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality.
  • Experience with data entry and records management preferred.
  • Availability for at least 10-12 weeks for the internship.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tax laws and compliance is advantageous.
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach toward learning.
