In this role, you'll:

  • Be required to proficiently operate Heavy Rigid vehicles primarily designed for the haulage of road-based materials to complete road sealing projects across regional NSW.
  • Be expected to tow any trailers that the vehicle is rated to tow.
  • undertake general maintenance of the road network. You will be required to assist the crew in manual tasks and perform any of the responsibilities associated to a Road Worker Grade 3.
  • Be required to work regularly away from home Monday to Friday. You will be put up in accommodation and will receive living away from home allowance.
  • Work on Sealing projects that require day shift and night shift.

We are seeking applicants that reside within a 100 km radius to the Bega depot.

About you:
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Rigid Truck Driver who has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.

You will have the following tickets and experience:

  • White Card.
  • Heavy Rigid Driver Licence.
  • Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment.
  • A strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility.
  • A Dangerous Good Licence is preferred but training can also be provided.
