THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists for reliable, experienced Quarry Operator to become an integral part of our team at our Kulpara Quarry. We are looking for someone with experience in excavator (up to 75 tonne), front-end loader (FEL) and articulated dump truck operation. The work activities include but are not limited to hauling raw feed, loading road trucks, feeding the crushing and screening plant and basic maintenance. To be successful in this role you will have an uncompromising commitment to safety, enjoy working in a small team, be flexible and approachable and feel pride in doing a good job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES


• Ensure safety, health and environmental standards are maintained


• Complete pre-start checks


• Operate mobile plant and equipment


• Basic housekeeping and maintenance of quarry equipment


• Labouring duties


• Performing plant and process inspections

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES


• Experience operating heavy mobile equipment is essential


• Experience working in a quarrying or mining operation including working with safety management systems is essential
