As a Graduate Engineer / Technical Officer, you will play a vital role in the assessment of development applications and the delivery of infrastructure that meets community expectations and Council standards. From reviewing engineering plans to conducting site inspections, your work will support sustainable growth and maintain our region's high-quality infrastructure.

About You

You are an enthusiastic team player ready to apply your engineering knowledge in a practical, community-focused setting. You bring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a multidisciplinary environment.

You will have:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia) or an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Eligibility or current membership with Engineers Australia.
  • A current 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
  • Strong ability to assess development applications and interpret technical drawings.
  • Sound (or developing) knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
