We are seeking a
Senior Fleet Controller
to manage all daily fleet movements at our busy depot. This is a
standalone role
where you will be the central point of communication between drivers and operations, ensuring every pickup and delivery runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and maintain accuracy while managing a high volume of tasks. Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Fleet Coordination
– Manage all vehicle movements throughout the day, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

Driver Communication
– Act as the primary contact for drivers, providing clear instructions and updates on daily schedules.

Scheduling & Route Management
– Plan and adjust routes to optimize efficiency and meet customer deadlines.

Operational Oversight
– Monitor progress, resolve issues quickly, and maintain service continuity under high workloads.

Compliance & Safety
– Ensure adherence to transport regulations and company standards.

Reporting & Accuracy
– Track hours, costs, and performance metrics using Excel and internal systems.

Continuous Improvement
– Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

What You Will Need

Transport & Logistics Experience
– Strong understanding of fleet operations and driver coordination.


Scheduling Expertise
– Ability to manage complex schedules and adapt to changing priorities.


High Workload Management
– Proven ability to stay organized and accurate in a fast-paced environment.


Communication Skills
– Clear and professional interaction with drivers and stakeholders.


Excel & Reporting Skills
– Confident in data tracking and operational reporting.


Knowledge of Regulations
– Familiarity with dangerous goods segregation and compliance standards.


Local Area Knowledge
– Excellent understanding of Brisbane and surrounding areas for route planning.
