Would you like to join a dynamic team of experienced and passionate Endorsed Midwives in Private Practice offering Homebirth and Hospital birth options for women around Melbourne and surrounds?

Mamatoto Midwives is a boutique small Private Midwifery Practice consisting of a small number of 'hand picked' midwives offering homebirth, hospital birth, Antenatal classes, acupuncture, IPRW, LC, and birth debriefing for women during the pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal continuum.

Our model is unique in that you will set up as a sub contractor and take 3 to 4 clients per Month for homebirths or hospital births. You will be offered a Mentorship when you commence, being fully supported into private practice by the team. You will be paid per client you take on which is unique, as you can essentially work as little or as much as you like. You will also be paid Superannuation.

Mamatoto Midwives pays all expenses for you, which includes Professional Indemnity Insurance, Public Liability Insurance, workcover, all equipment expenses, some education costs and all running costs of the business. So you won't be at any financial risk of outlay commencing with our team.

You will need to be an Endorsed Midwife, or be eligible for Endorsement, A Registered Midwife registered with AHPRA, ideally you will have continuity of care experience, but this is not essential as we can mentor you into this role.

Our clinic is based in Nunawading, and you must be willing to travel within 1hr of your home to attend homebirth clients and hospital births clients.

We are a fun group of midwives, thoroughly enjoy our work, but also we enjoy catching up outside work socially for fun events organised through Mamatoto Midwives.
