SG Foodservice Pty Ltd t/as The Restaurant Pendolino in Sydney's historic Strand Arcade has a position available for a experienced Wine Waiter/ Bar Staff.

About the role:

In this role you will work closely with the Group Sommelier to ensure that the delivery of wine and beverage services to our guests are of the highest possible standard. You will have a background in wine and beverage operations, restaurant operations and administrative duties such as managing costs.

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum five years' experience in a similar role in a high-end restaurant
  • Impeccable service standards and attention to detail
  • An understanding of customer needs to deliver the best wine, food, and overall dining experience
  • Someone with initiative and with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Professional, personable, and driven to exceed expectations
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves a challenge
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian and Australian wines desirable
