About the role

Blenners Transport is seeking experienced MC (Multi-Combination) Drivers to join our team in Townsville, QLD. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work a mix of day and night shifts, with opportunities for both long-haul Top End routes and local shuttle runs.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating large commercial vehicles such as road trains, B-doubles and other multi-combination configurations
  • Transporting freight and goods across the Top End region, as well as local shuttle runs within the Townsville area
  • Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols
  • Maintaining detailed log books and vehicle inspection records
  • Liaising with dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient and timely deliveries

What we're looking for

  • A current MC (Multi-Combination) driver's licence - must be able to drive road ranger gear box
  • Significant experience (3+ years) operating large commercial vehicles in the road transport industry
  • BFM Accreditation
  • A strong safety-first mindset and commitment to safe driving practices
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
