Gum Nut Preschool and Childcare is seeking a dedicated Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our warm and welcoming team.

About the Role:

We're looking for a passionate Diploma qualified educator who is ready to make a real difference in the lives of young children. You will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, creativity, and play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-time, permanent position with immediate start available
  • Lead and support age-appropriate learning experiences
  • Assist with daily routines and maintain a safe, caring environment
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality early childhood education
  • Contribute to an inclusive learning environment that promotes a strong sense of belonging

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-recognised equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Reliable, organised, and passionate about early learning

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), child development, and the National Quality Standard (NQS)

  • A warm, inclusive approach that values diversity and supports each child's potential

Essential Requirements:

  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
  • Mandatory child protection training
  • Previous experience in an early childhood education setting
