About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our QS Tax Services Department.

In this client-facing and autonomous role, you'll work closely with developers, investors, accountants, and real estate professionals, providing value-added advice and assessments of Capital Allowances (Tax Depreciation) across both residential and commercial projects — from acquisitions and new builds to refurbishments and CapEx programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise directly with clients to scope, manage, and deliver tax depreciation projects.
  • Measure, quantify, componentise, estimate costs, and prepare detailed tax depreciation reports.
  • Conduct site inspections and document depreciable assets.
  • Analyse construction costs and asset information for tax depreciation purposes.
  • Lead and manage the Tax Department's workflow and reporting deliverables.
About You

You are a proactive, client-focused professional who thrives in taking ownership of projects. You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in QS Tax Services within Australia.
  • Strong construction knowledge and commercial acumen.
  • A methodical, analytical approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in building professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and measurement software.
