EDC Systems are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our expanding team servicing a range of our clients across multiple sites within the Brisbane and the surrounding areas.

The suitable candidate should be able to present well, along with having the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with our customers, as you will be representing the business on our behalf while in the field.

EDC has a strong background within the electrical and data industry with nearly 30 years of service to our valued customers who we have continued to service over those years. We pride ourselves on providing our staff with an enjoyable workplace which is reflected in our staff retention rates.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in all aspects of the Commercial electrical field including the following -

  • Small to medium scale fit out and re-furb works (power, lighting and data)
  • Good fault-finding skills along with knowledge of AS3000
  • Preventative and periodic maintenance (RCD testing / emergency lighting etc.)
  • Mentoring and training of apprentices
  • Working alone and also being a part of a team where required

Please note that due to the nature of our customers and sites, after hours works are required as part of this role. All after hours works are paid at the appropriate over time rates.

This role will report back to a dedicated project manager whilst being supported by our proficient office support team.
