About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team at CMP CORP PTY LTD. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across the Gold Coast. This is a casual role which may lead to full time for the right applicant.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including power, lighting, and control systems
  • Install new electrical components, wiring, and equipment according to plans and specifications
  • Interpret and follow electrical diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

What we're looking for

  • Qualified Electrician with a current Australian electrical license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a qualified Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
