WHO WE ARE

The Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer Ltd (ACPCC) is a not-for-profit (NFP) organisation with 60 years of expertise in the prevention of cancer and infectious disease through provision of pathology services, cancer screening and vaccination registries. Our primary purpose is to prevent cancer and infectious diseases through excellence in the provision of population health services supporting screening and vaccination.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Human Resources (HR) and Payroll Graduate will be a key member of the ACPCC Corporate Services team and a central point of contact for general HR and Payroll matters. The position will involve the following:


• Recruitment: Assisting with position descriptions, drafting job advertisements, phone screening of candidates, coordinating interviews and pre-employment checks


• Performance: Coordinating annual performance appraisals across all business units


• Induction and onboarding: Maintaining and continuously improving the employee induction program ensuring all staff are inducted in a timely and effective way and that onboarding plans are in place.


• General HR support: Providing general HR advice to employees and managers, escalating high-level issues where necessary


• Payroll processing: Assisting and preparing the fortnightly payroll process


• Reporting: Regular reporting on compliance and key HR metrics


• Record keeping: Ensuring data accuracy by maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring timely updates to HR systems

This is the perfect opportunity for a HR and Business graduate looking to build their career and someone who thrives on coordinating multiple tasks with a high attention to detail. Experience within a similar administration environment is highly regarded but not essential.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:


• Tertiary qualifications in HR Management, Business, Psychology or a related field


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Commitment to confidentiality and discretion


• Sound computer literacy across the range of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint


• Coachability and eagerness to learn
