JY Group is a leading private equity real estate firm specialising in land-rich, rent-yielding commercial property investments in major Australian cities. We identify, acquire, and manage high-value real estate assets that deliver long-term growth and stable rental returns. As part of our ongoing business expansion, we are seeking a skilled Web Designer to join our Sydney team to support our Investor Relations and Marketing departments.

About the Role

The Web Designer is the key personnel to propose suitable Web UI solutions for our IT objectives: firstly, to promote new project opportunities, and secondly, to retire existing stage investments, delivering the most informative and transparent experience to investors.

The Web Designer will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and monitoring IT at JY Group's projects' websites and the Centralised Investor Portal. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing investor accessibility, improving online communication efficiency for each investment project, and ensuring the company's digital presence and communications remains professional, secure, and aligned with brand and compliance standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams to create engaging, user-centred, and responsive web experiences that reflect JY Group's branding and investment excellence.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and monitoring JY Group's Investor Portal and corporate websites, enhancing investor accessibility and communication efficiency.

· Advise appropriate online layouts, colour schemes, typography, and visual elements to ensure intuitive navigation, aesthetic consistency, and alignment with different projects' investment goals.

· Develop wireframes, prototypes, and digital mock-ups for ICT project implementation.

· Apply responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) to ensure usability across devices and browsers.

· Conduct user research, usability testing, and performance analysis to improve user experience based on investor feedback and data insights.

· Collaborate with Directors, Investor Relations, and IT in developing functional and secure design solutions for different investment projects from time to time.

· Provide design guidance and advice for financial services communications, particularly for investor-facing interfaces (UI).

· Design, manage, and maintain digital assets including graphics, banners, icons, and animations across online platforms.

  • Apply experience in Chinese-language website UI design to enhance accessibility and engagement for Chinese-speaking investors.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Web Design, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience advising designs for financial services companies such as JY Group, particularly in relation to investors' user interface (UI) and digital communications.
  • Strong experience in UI design for Chinese-language websites.
  • Strong understanding of financial information confidentiality in responsive design, user accessibility, and SEO principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail, visual sense, and communication skills.
