Hotel Finance Partners (HFP) is a specialist hospitality finance and accounting consultancy supporting luxury, boutique and lifestyle hotels & restaurants
across Australia.

We partner with hotel & restaurants owners and operators to deliver outsourced accounting, financial control, reporting and CFO advisory services. Our approach blends strong technical hotel accounting, leveraging systems & processes automation with commercial and operational insight.

Unlike a traditional in-house hotel role, working at HFP provides

The Role

We are seeking a Hotel Finance Specialist
to support a
5-star hotel in Brisbane
, while also gaining exposure to other premium hospitality assets over time.

This role combines:

  • The
    hands-on detail
    of a Hotel Accountant
  • The
    commercial exposure
    of an Assistant Financial Controller

Delivered through a
consulting model
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily, weekly and monthly hotel accounting processes
  • Daily income audit review and revenue reconciliation
  • Month-end close, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and review of monthly management reports (USALI-based)
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Support Directors with Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Liaison with hotel operations, GMs and department heads
  • Support external audits and year-end processes
  • Exposure to and support of hotel systems (PMS, POS, and AP automation)

About You

  • 2-3+ years' experience in
    hospitality finance or accounting
  • Experience as a Hospitality Accountant, Finance Officer or Assistant Financial Controller
  • Strong understanding of hotel & restaurants operations
  • Experience in luxury or full-service hotels highly regarded
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Curious, proactive and keen to grow professionally
