Team Leader – Garden Maintenance | Leaf by Leaf

Based in Briar Hill, working across all areas of Melbourne

Leaf by Leaf is an award-winning garden maintenance and management company known for our high-quality work and passion for shaping beautiful, thriving landscapes. Leaf by Leaf work on all types of gardens from large acreage properties down to boutique balcony gardens small and large we do it all. We're looking for an experienced residential Team Leader to join our growing crew of horticultural professionals.

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day care of premium residential gardens, ensuring they're maintained to the highest standard. You'll lead by example, supporting your team while also working independently when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work alongside a small team on residential garden maintenance jobs
  • Perform a range of horticultural tasks including pruning, weeding, planting, fertilising and pest control
  • Provide plant care advice and ensure the health and presentation of all gardens
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the Leaf by Leaf management team
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in professional residential garden maintenance
  • Strong plant identification and horticultural knowledge
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or higher preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Reliable, punctual and well-presented
  • Must have a valid driver's licence and own transport
  • A work ute will be supplied in time for the right candidate
