About the Role
We are currently looking for casual Disability Support Workers to provide support in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home, assisting a new customer moving in alongside an existing mature-aged customer. You'll be delivering 1:2 and 1:1 support to assist with daily living tasks.

In this role, you'll play a key part in promoting independence while supporting the overall physical and emotional well-being of both customers.

The SIL home operates 24/7, with a variety of shifts available — including morning, daytime, and afternoon shifts (between 9 AM and 9 PM), as well as overnight sleepover shifts.

As both customers have no high-behavioural needs, this is a great opportunity for those new to the disability sector or those looking to build their experience in a supportive and meaningful role. If you're ready to make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you

Other responsibilities may include:

· Promoting independence through engagement in daily routines

· Supporting daily living tasks, personal care and medication

· Supporting community access services

· Assisting with mobility through safe and appropriate manual handling techniques as required

· Maintaining accurate documentation including daily progress notes and incident reports

What we are looking for:

· A sound understanding or interest in the disability sector

· No prior experience necessary – just a passion to make a meaningful impact

· Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including sleepovers

Requirements

· Valid drivers licence (P2 or open class)

· Senior First Aid and CPR certificate

· NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)

· QLD blue card (working with children check)
