We are currently seeking skilled and motivated IT Field Engineers to support a variety of client environments across Mackay and surrounding locations. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy flexible, hands-on work and have experience in End User Computing (EUC), desktop rollouts, and IT support.

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic Networking issues
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with proven capability
  • Knowledge of MS Windows OS & MS Office Suite
  • Experience in MS Active directory & IP telephony would be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and communicate directly with onsite client.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • IT Degree, Training, or experience
  • Strong time management and prioritizing skills
  • Own Tools, including step Ladder would be an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support for PCs, mobiles, printers, AV devices and basic networks
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues related to end-user devices
  • Installing and imaging PC devices in a Windows environment
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level deskside support
  • Provide hardware support in a data centre environment
  • Liaise with remote support to resolve issues.

We are looking for highly motivated, committed and reliable individuals with strong communications skills.
