In 2019, Humans of Agriculture began with a simple idea: to showcase agriculture through the stories of the people who live and breathe it every day. What started as a social media page has evolved into an ecosystem encompassing podcasts, video series, and a platform connecting people from farm to fork.

Today, we're a purpose-led media company dedicated to Building the Next Gen of Talent for the future of Australian agriculture and using storytelling to connect, inform, and inspire.

Your Opportunity

We're looking for a
Partnerships Manager
to join our small, dynamic team and help us take Humans of Agriculture into our next chapter.

Reporting directly to our Founder, Oli, you'll play a pivotal role in growing our impact by developing and managing commercial partnerships. You'll be the person who turns opportunities into outcomes, building relationships, creating value for partners, and driving revenue that allows us to continue championing agriculture's stories.

This role is about connection. You'll work with businesses, industry organisations, and brands to show them how storytelling and community can help them achieve their goals, while supporting our mission to empower the people shaping agriculture's future.

Key Accountabilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales across podcasts, videos, events, and new commercial offerings
  • Sell podcast advertising, video series, and sponsorship packages
  • Identify, design, and grow new partnership opportunities and products

Client & Partner Relationships

  • Build, manage, and expand strong, long-term partner relationships
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment and satisfaction
  • Represent Humans of Agriculture at events, pitches, and industry forums

Commercial Execution

  • Draft proposals, contracts, and manage renewals
  • Negotiate agreements that balance value for partners and sustainability for HOA
  • Track sales pipeline, manage reporting, and ensure revenue targets are met

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with the content and operations teams to shape packages, pricing, and delivery
  • Provide insights and feedback to refine our offerings and identify emerging opportunities
  • Contribute to the growth strategy by helping set targets and defining success metrics

About You

  • Proven experience in partnerships, business development, or sales
  • A natural connector with strong relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and pitches
  • Commercially minded and confident managing budgets, contracts, and targets
  • Curious, proactive, and passionate about purpose-driven work
  • Knowledge of agriculture is a bonus, but not essential, more important is a willingness to dive in and learn
