IP Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Plate Roll Operator / Role Press Operator to join our client's team based in Bayswater. This is an excellent opportunity offering an immediate start and strong long-term potential for the right candidate.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled operator with experience in plate rolling, particularly in working with a range of materials and techniques. You'll be operating advanced machinery and may also bring general boilermaking and fabrication skills to the role.

To be considered, you will need:

  • Proven experience rolling 20–25mm plate
  • Confidence with transitions, cone rolling, and overlay plate
  • Experience working with hard-face and specialty alloys (highly regarded)

  • Proficiency in operating:

  • Roundo PS 320 & 360 Rollers

  • Steelcraft slip rollers
  • Boilermaker skills and general fabrication experience
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing (including random testing)
  • Reliable transport - Own car and drivers licence.
