DSM Services Pty Ltd is expanding and seeking experienced civil construction personnel to join our team delivering SA Water water and sewer projects, civil extensions, and infrastructure works. Our operations span metropolitan Adelaide, the northern suburbs, and regional South Australia.

Current Opportunities
Team Leaders / Leading Hands

· Lead and coordinate small site crews

· Support Supervisors with daily operations and project delivery

· Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity


Civil Construction Workers / Labourers

· Assist with trenching, backfilling, pipe laying, and general civil works

· Work effectively and safely within a field construction team


Pipelayers

· Install water and sewer mains, including laser alignment

· Complete service connections, reinstatement, and backfilling

· SA Water project experience highly regarded


Excavator / Plant Operators

· Operate excavators, loaders, rollers, and associated civil plant

· Support trenching, lifting, and general earthworks activities

· Relevant tickets and demonstrated experience required


HR Truck Drivers

· Transport materials, spoil, and equipment between job sites

· Support daily site logistics and civil operations


Key Selection Criteria

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

· Proven experience in civil construction, ideally on water, sewer, or utilities projects

· Strong knowledge of safety standards, SWMS, and operational procedures

· Current White Card and relevant tickets/licences for the role (e.g., Excavator, HR/HC Licence, Confined Space, Spotter)

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow site Supervisor directions

· Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

· Willingness to work across metro and regional South Australia as required

· Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening


Highly Desirable

· SA Water induction or previous SA Water project experience

· MR/HR, or additional plant competencies

· Experience working to tight deadlines and within live utility environments
