Job Description:

As a casual Short Order Cook, you will be a key player in our kitchen, responsible for preparing a wide range of dishes from breakfast to lunch items. You'll work alongside a dedicated team of baristas and floor staff to ensure our customers have a memorable dining experience.

Hours required are approximately 6am - 2pm Wednesday - Sunday

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including breakfast and lunch items.

Handle customer orders efficiently and with precision, ensuring timely service.

Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including food storage and preparation areas.

Maintain a high standard of food quality, consistency, and presentation.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service.

Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Assist in receiving and managing food deliveries and inventory.

Contribute to menu planning and development, suggesting new dishes or improvements.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a short-order cook or line cook is essential.

Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Excellent time management and organisation skills.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
