The Team:
As a member of the Domestic Services Team (Cleaner) at the Mersey Community Hospital you will directly contribute to the prevention of infection using infection prevention control methods, hospital cleanliness presentability and safety for patients their visitors and staff. You will be joining a mid to large sized team in a multi-disciplinary role working across the entire hospital with on-the-job training.

The Role:

  • Multi-disciplinary role with on-the-job training provided.
  • You will be using multiple industrial cleaning tools and chemicals, to assist with hospital cleanliness and safety.
  • Some of the duties will include linen delivery, waste management mopping sweeping and dusting
  • Contributing to the prevention of infection spreading and hospital cleanliness.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 40 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

Fixed term, casual, positions available working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 17 months.

Salary:
$57,130 to $62,486 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
