The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Group Compliance Manager to join our leadership team. This includes full responsibility for compliance with gaming, liquor, AML/CTF, privacy, security, WHS, and club industry regulations. The role leads the compliance function, manages a team of compliance professionals across venues, and ensures the Group maintains a strong culture of regulatory integrity, risk awareness, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Group-wide compliance with liquor, gaming, AML/CTF, privacy, WHS, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor legislative changes and advise the Executive and Board on impacts.
  • Oversee gaming compliance, including machine movements, entitlements, exclusions, and reporting.
  • Liaise with external providers to maintain effective and compliant gaming systems.
  • Manage the AML/CTF program, including risk assessments, reporting, and staff training.
  • Lead, develop, and support compliance personnel across all venues.
  • Implement and manage internal audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and registers.
  • Provide regular compliance and risk reports to the Executive and Board.
  • Coordinate regulator engagement, inspections, and formal responses.
  • Drive compliance culture through training, certification management, and staff engagement.

About You

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a compliance, regulatory, or risk management role, preferably within clubs or gaming/hospitality.
  • Proven leadership experience managing compliance staff or multi-site operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of gaming, AML/CTF, liquor licensing, privacy, and WHS obligations.
  • Strong understanding of industry systems such as Maxgaming, eBET, and AUSTRAC reporting tools.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of discretion, attention to detail, and professional integrity.

This role is located at easts, in Bondi Junction, but will require travel to our other venues across Sydney regularly.
