Simply Sunshine is a community based not-for-profit organization located in the town of Moranbah just a few short hours from the vast and beautiful coastline of Queensland. Our service provides care for 124 children per day in both our long day care, and standalone kindergarten.

We are looking for diploma-qualified educators who are passionate about providing quality education and care for children birth to 6 years of age. We provide high quality care and education through a well-resourced and newly refurbished environment inspired by nature, and outdoor learning. A place where children and educators alike can explore, develop, and grow through play.

Our ideal candidate will benefit from possessing the following attributes:

  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF and the NQS to deliver quality programs
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn programming and planning for children's learning
  • Respect for the capability of children and their interests in learning through their own view of the world
  • The ability to build relationships with children and families built on trust and respect
  • Be a team player that supports the professional and personal growth of others
  • The ability to mentor, support and lead others

Essential Criteria:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
  • Valid working with children's check
  • Passion for children and early childhood
