SUPERVISOR / DIESEL MECHANIC - BDS MORANBAH

BDS Mechanical has an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor or leading hand looking to progress in their career to join our large privately owned and operated business. This position is to help manage an already established team in Moranbah with a hands on approach and pro-active demeanour.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a fast-growing company providing expert mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services both on-site and in our fully equipped workshops. With 22 locations across Queensland and a fleet of over 160 field service units, we proudly service more than 600,000 km² across Queensland and Western Australia, ensuring support is always within reach. The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Supervisor/Leading hand experience
  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Experience in light and heavy vehicles
  • HR license a bonus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good people management skills
  • Ability to manage all aspects of the business effectively
  • Great workshop, mechanical and diagnostic knowledge

The Job:

  • Coordinate field service mechanics
  • Source and order parts when needed
  • Help out on the tools when workload required
  • Check off time sheets
  • Overlook and correct job cards
  • Monitor emails
  • Forward on time sheets for pay day to accounts
  • Forward on completed job cards for invoicing
  • Control A/H breakdowns and roster
