About the role

We are seeking an experienced and organised Administration Support Officer to join our team at Lethborg Family Funerals. This full-time role will provide vital administrative support to our funeral home, assisting with a range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing general administrative support, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, managing diaries and scheduling appointments
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and databases
  • Ordering and managing office supplies and equipment
  • Supporting the team with other ad-hoc tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within a customer-focused environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the empathy to interact with grieving families
  • Proficient in using standard office software, including Microsoft Office suite
  • A calm, professional and discreet approach
  • A sharp eye for detail and accurate data entry
  • Self-motivation and initiative
  • Problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset
  • A friendly, approachable nature
  • A current Driver's Licence
