Part-Time Manager – Gold Rush Mini Golf, Ballarat

Are you a friendly, hands-on, proactive individual looking for a fun and engaging part-time management role? We're seeking a Part-Time Manager to join our team at Gold Rush Mini Golf in Ballarat.

About us

Gold Rush Mini Golf is a unique entertainment destination featuring two fully themed 18-hole courses (an outdoor Gold Rush themed course and an indoor glow-in-the-dark course), arcade games, remote control boats, a licensed café & bar and party/function facilities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the venue team during shifts – setting the tone with friendly, hands-on involvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service; creating a fun and easy-going time for customers.
  • Manage bookings, group events, birthday parties and help coordinate functions, managing the team inbox and responding to customers.
  • Make sure the venue is always looking its best, ensure staff are taking care and attention of both the indoor and outdoor courses.
  • Assist with stock control, cash handling, basic admin and rostering.
  • Must be available on weekends, during school holidays and this coming Christmas holiday period.

A warm, friendly and approachable leader who connects with guests and team members.

Hands-on attitude: not just managing from afar, but you'll roll up your sleeves and help out.

Available to work weekends and during school holidays (these are our busiest times).

Holds a valid Working With Children Check (essential) and a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.

Excellent communication, organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, fun environment.

Previous experience in customer-facing management or entertainment/recreation venue is a bonus.

A minimum of 1-2 years management experience is required for this position.
