About the Role:
As the Marketing Leader at Epic Hair Designs, you'll take ownership of our brand's creative direction and day-to-day marketing activity. This role blends strategy with hands-on execution, giving you the opportunity to shape campaigns from concept through to delivery. You'll be responsible for managing our digital presence, driving social media engagement, designing standout creative assets with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and ensuring our website and CRM systems are always optimised. Beyond digital, you'll also lead brand partnerships, coordinate events, and manage communications that connect with our clients and community. This is a fast-paced role where creativity, organisation, and technical skill come together to elevate Queensland's leading luxury salon brand.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Marketing Strategy Development – Lead the creation and execution of innovative marketing strategies that strengthen our brand presence.
· Social Media Management – Oversee content strategy, publishing, and engagement across all platforms.
· Graphic Design & Creative Direction – Design high-quality visual assets across digital and print channels using Photoshop and Illustrator, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
· Website & Digital Management – Maintain and update our website with fresh content, promotions, competitions, and SEO-focused pages to drive bookings and client engagement.
· Copywriting & Campaign Messaging – Craft compelling copy for campaigns, EDMs, blogs, and promotional materials that connect with target audiences and reflect our premium brand voice.
· CRM & Client Engagement – Manage CRM software to deliver personalised campaigns, loyalty communications, and client re-engagement strategies.
· Advertising & Paid Media – Plan, execute, and optimise Facebook Meta advertising campaigns to increase reach, conversions, and ROI.
· Partnerships & Sponsorships – Manage brand collaborations, sponsorships, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with company values while maximising visibility and relevance.
· Events & Activations – Lead event planning and execution, from in-salon activations to large-scale sponsorship events, ensuring impactful brand experiences.
· Internal & External Communications – Coordinate competitions, promotions, and communications that motivate internal teams and engage external audiences.
Skills and Abilities Required:
· Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and WordPress with the ability to produce high-quality creative assets across digital and print.
· Experience managing CRM platforms and executing data-driven campaigns that enhance client engagement and retention.
· Proven ability to grow and manage social media channels and influencer/content management to drive engagement.
· Excellent copywriting skills.
· Communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong understanding of PR, media and digital integration (desirable).
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing.
· Technical Proficiencies: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Wordpress.
· Ability to multi-task and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication and copywriting skills.
· An ability to cultivate and build collaborative working relationships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders.
