The opportunity we have available:

We are looking for a responsible and professional Salesperson, with industry experience, who is energetic and enthusiastic with a strong customer focus.

We need a Salesperson who will help us achieve our vision by building and maintaining strong business relationships with our customers.

The successful applicant:
  • Will be a Part Time employee working 63 hours per fortnight.
  • Must work one weekend in a fortnightly roster (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Will have good computer skills.
  • Will provide excellent customer service.
  • Has the ability to work well in a busy team environment.
  • Has enthusiasm to continually learn and increase your product knowledge.
  • Has the ability to do some heavy lifting and repetitive movement.
Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager will include:

  • Face to face customer service and sales within the store and over the phone.
  • Assist with stock replenishment in store.
  • Assist with keeping the overall presentation of the store clean and clear.
  • Ensure your health and safety is prioritised in everything you do.

BMS Mitre 10 was established in 1934 and is a trusted progressive locally managed hardware and building material supplier based in Toowoomba on the Darling Downs, Queensland. We have 3 stores located in Toowoomba. BMS Mitre 10 supply hardware, building materials, timber, power tools, hand tools, house paint, plumbing, bathroom fixtures and fittings, electrical fittings and garden products.
