About the role

This is a full-time role at Battery Barn', a leading retailer of batteries and associated products in the Toowoomba QLD 4350 area. As a Battery Retail Salesperson and Fitter, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their battery needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the appropriate battery products
  2. Demonstrating strong product knowledge to educate customers on the features and benefits of different battery types
  3. Accurately measuring, fitting, and installing batteries for a variety of vehicles and devices
  4. Maintaining a clean and organised retail environment, ensuring products are displayed neatly and replenished as needed
  5. Handling cash and card transactions, and providing accurate information on pricing and promotions
  6. Participating in regular training to stay up-to-date with industry developments and new product offerings

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within the automotive or electronics industry
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide personalised solutions
  3. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to accurately measure and install batteries for a range of applications
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  5. A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  6. A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer experiences
  7. Candidates must have a drivers licence to complete deliveries
