About the role
This is a full-time role at Battery Barn', a leading retailer of batteries and associated products in the Toowoomba QLD 4350 area. As a Battery Retail Salesperson and Fitter, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their battery needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the appropriate battery products
- Demonstrating strong product knowledge to educate customers on the features and benefits of different battery types
- Accurately measuring, fitting, and installing batteries for a variety of vehicles and devices
- Maintaining a clean and organised retail environment, ensuring products are displayed neatly and replenished as needed
- Handling cash and card transactions, and providing accurate information on pricing and promotions
- Participating in regular training to stay up-to-date with industry developments and new product offerings
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within the automotive or electronics industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide personalised solutions
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to accurately measure and install batteries for a range of applications
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer experiences
- Candidates must have a drivers licence to complete deliveries
