Our client, a signage specialist with over 50 years' experience bringing brands to life, is searching for a skilled Signage Vinyl Graphics & Digital Print Operator to join their fast-growing team. Position Summary:

Are you a hands-on professional with an eye for detail and a passion for graphics?

As a key member of the print and graphics team, you'll play a pivotal role in the preparation, application, and finishing of vinyl graphics and digital prints across a wide variety of signage products/structures and surfaces.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll ensure every project is completed to the highest standard, on time, and with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Graphics Production: Prepare cut files, operate wide-format plotters, apply vinyl and digital prints, and complete in-house signage fit-outs to high quality standards.
• Material Handling: Apply knowledge of substrates, materials, and vinyl properties to determine appropriate production methods and achieve optimal application.
• Efficiency & Quality: Complete work within set timeframes, proactively escalate potential delays, and ensure accuracy in material use, stock tracking, and reporting.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate with supervisors and team members to align production priorities, contribute to team updates, and support process improvements.
• ERP Use: Accurately enter project time and task data in the ERP system.
• Computer Use: Use relevant programs and systems (e.g. Illustrator, CorelDRAW) to manage print files and assist with pre-production file preparation.

• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain digital and vinyl equipment including:

• HP Latex printers (including white ink)

• DCS UV printer (2.4m x 1.2m)
• Summa profile cutters
• Roland vinyl cutters
• RollsRoller application tables

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in signage with demonstrated vinyl and digital print application skills across various substrates and graphics production
• Strong understanding of digital print processes, materials, and wide-format equipment
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality outcomes
• Comfortable using Illustrator and/or CorelDraw to manage print files
• Effective communication and ability to work to deadlines in a manufacturing environment
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow WHS procedures
