Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and present high-quality dishes across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
  • Assist in designing and updating menus, ensuring creativity and seasonal variety
  • Maintain stock levels, manage inventory, and order supplies as required
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards
  • Monitor portion control, minimize waste, and manage food costs effectively
  • Work collaboratively with management to deliver excellent customer experiences

About You

  • Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III/IV or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of modern Australian and international cuisines
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work across weekends, evenings, and public holidays
