Looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a hands -on role and enjoys working across both fleet and agricultural machinery in a supportive regional team environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnostics, servicing, and repair of a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities· Conduct diagnostic testing and accurately identify faults· Repair and replace diesel engines, transmissions, steering, braking, and lighting systems· Perform preventative maintenance on light vehicles, prime movers, and agricultural equipment including cotton pickers· Carry out test drives to ensure safety and performance· Maintain accurate service logs, records, and parts inventory· Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain workshop standards Requirements· Trade qualifications in Mechanical, Automotive, or Heavy Vehicle Engineering· Solid experience in diesel diagnostics, servicing, and repair· Strong IT and problem -solving skills, with the ability to self -diagnose faults· Physically fit with strong attention to detail· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)· Good organisational and interpersonal skills· Valid driver's license Benefits· Competitive salary package based on experience ($40 -$45 per hour)· Permanent, full -time role in regional NSW· Supportive and friendly work environment· Opportunity to work across a wide range of equipment, offering variety and career growth
