Are you a proactive and organised individual with experience in the building industry? We're looking for a reliable Office All-Rounder to join our busy building company 4 days a week Monday through to Thursday. This is a varied role ideal for someone who thrives on multitasking and enjoys a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lodge building permits
  • Liaise with local shires and relevant authorities
  • Manage client variations and maintain clear client communication
  • Coordinate with site supervisors on project updates
  • Organise and track maintenance and repairs
  • Learn and assist with basic accounts – including paying wages and subcontractors when accounts staff are away
  • Answer phones and manage incoming enquiries professionally
  • General administration duties such as filing, ordering supplies, and keeping the office and kitchen area tidy

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in a building or construction office (Minimum 2 years)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Basic understanding of accounts/payroll or a willingness to learn
  • Good computer skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential
  • A team player mindset, ready to help wherever needed
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
