Working as part of the Aurizon Esperance Rollingstock Maintenance team, you will be required to exercise your mechanical skills in servicing, repairing and maintaining rollingstock to ensure the efficient running of freight services. No formal qualifications required

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine corrective maintenance and fault repair on wagons
  • Reporting on actual work performed against the scheduled work program
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications
  • Progressing the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement
  • Supporting other WA maintenance depots as per EA agreement

About you:

  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Current unrestricted WA drivers' licence
  • High level of knowledge of functions, defects and fault finding with equipment
  • Substantial level of skill in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of machinery, although not essential, will be highly regarded
  • Training provided as applicable
