We develop, sell, and deliver Bazefield as a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform or as an on-premises solution. Job Description: Senior Engineer (Renewables) – Australia (Melbourne or Sydney)

We are seeking a Senior Engineer for Project Delivery, System Configuration, System Integrations, IT/OT as part of our Renewables team.

Do you want to acquire in-depth knowledge of the product's features, functionality, and applications to effectively implement, trouble-shoot, and help clients and colleagues solve technical tasks and problems?

As a Senior Engineer you will work within our delivery team that is distributed across the world.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Hands-on project delivery, system integration and configuration for the existing and new projects
- Liaise with customers to make sure the project and technical deliverables are on track
- Be a local point of contact for the customer and work with customer to deliver the project
- Be a technical point of contact and work with the overseas delivery team to develop and deliver the project efficiently
- Handson configuration during commissioning and onboarding new sites
- Onboarding of new sites: IT/OT system integration, connectivity to sites, configuration, dataflow, calculations
- Custom configurations as determined by the customer: new integrations, reports, dashboards and key performance metrics
- Handling of 3rd line technical support enquiries raised by customers
- Write up design document based on customer requirements
- Update documentation, knowledge base, report findings with product to R&D, possibly providing training for clients or internal team members
- Commissioning of sites in pacific and globally across Renewables

Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, think critically, and resolve issues accurately and effectively.
- Understanding client needs. Eager to improve and effective problem-solving skills.
- Clear, concise communication, able to translate technical details for both technical and non-technical contacts.
- Experience with technical aspects of OT/IT systems, especially SCADA and the different interfaces/protocols/configurations connected to SCADA, as system owner, system developer, system engineer, or other relevant/similar skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in System Development, Engineering or other relevant. We are open to candidates with relevant work experience that can serve the same purpose.
- 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy market, smart-grids, or related field.
