The Office of Public Prosecutions is looking for Legal Trainees to join our team. This isn't your average legal role—it's a hands-on, pre-admission traineeship designed to immerse you in the world of criminal prosecution. You'll work on cases from the ground up, preparing and conducting matters in the Magistrates' and County Courts.
What you'll do:
- Gain real-world experience: You'll handle a wide variety of cases, from summary prosecutions to plea hearings and trials.
- Rotate through different teams: You'll have the chance to work across various divisions, building a comprehensive skill set in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with the best: Work alongside experienced solicitors, police, barristers, and other legal professionals, learning directly from their expertise.
- Make an impact: Engage with victims and witnesses, ensuring their voices are heard and contributing to the pursuit of justice.
Who we're looking for:
You're a driven law graduate (or about to be) with a genuine interest in criminal law. You're ready to dive into a fast-paced environment, eager to learn, and prepared to handle the challenges of a demanding legal practice. You have a solid grasp of criminal law and are ready to apply your knowledge to make a real difference.
