San Miguel Yamamura Australasia (SMYA) is an established leader in packaging and contract beverage filling in Australia and New Zealand.  We started in Australia as Cospak Pty Ltd over 50 years ago and today the company is a joint venture between two packaging leaders, San Miguel Corporation of the Philippines and Nihon Yamamura Glass of Japan.  SMYA is headquartered in Sydney and is present in all the major states across Australia and in Auckland, New Zealand.

Part of the Group, Cospak Australia aims to provide organisations with a variety of total packaging solutions within the Australian, New Zealand and Asian markets. An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious Area Manager working in our South Australia Branch.

The role:

Reporting to the State Manager, this role is responsible for driving sales growth through both new business development and account management within your assigned region.

The successful candidate:

  • Demonstrated performance in achieving new business development targets,
  • A proven track record of success in B2B sales and developing new client relationships,
  • A proven ability to cold call and canvass for new business opportunities,
  • Excellent Account Management Skills,
  • Strong customer and stakeholder relationship skills and sales drive,
  • Experience working toward sales KPI's,
  • Be able to work autonomously,
  • Be able to work across multiple market sectors and have strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to manage a broad range of product sku's
  • Experience in packaging highly desirable however those with technical sales experience will be considered.
