About the Role
We are expanding our interdisciplinary team and are seeking an enthusiastic
Paediatric Physiotherapist
to join our supportive environment. You will work closely with our occupational therapists to deliver high-quality, goal-directed physiotherapy interventions to children from infancy to early adolescence.
The role offers the opportunity to:
- Deliver individualised physiotherapy assessments and interventions for a wide range of developmental, neurological, sensory, and motor coordination needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and family-centred care.
- Participate in joint therapy sessions, group programs, and parent education.
- Work within a flexible, child-led, play-based framework.
- Be supported through supervision, professional development, and mentorship opportunities.
- Contribute to service development projects in a growing and innovative practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physiotherapy assessment, intervention, and consultation services to paediatric clients.
- Develop and implement therapy plans that are functional, evidence-based, and family-oriented.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other health professionals to support children's participation in everyday activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and clinical records.
- Participate actively in professional development and reflective practice activities.
About You
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience in paediatrics, particularly early childhood and/or school-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of child development, motor milestones, and neurological and musculoskeletal presentations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and teams.
- Passionate about family-centred practice, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Current Working With Children Check (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- Experience or training in sensory integration, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, ASD, or DCD.
- Experience delivering group programs or early intervention services.
