Position: Trade Assistant – Painting & Blasting 

Location: Kalgoorlie, Western Australia

Roster: FIFO 2:1 or Residential 10:4 (Days Only)

Rate: Up to $45/hr + Super (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

  • We're seeking an experienced Trade Assistant to join our Kalgoorlie-based team, supporting the preparation and finishing of mining mobile equipment
  • This role is ideal for someone who has worked alongside qualified painters and blasters, understands the importance of thorough prep work, and enjoys being part of a high-performing workshop team
  • You'll assist in surface preparation, masking, sanding, cleaning, and general workshop duties to ensure our equipment leaves the workshop looking its best

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working as a Trade Assistant in a mining or heavy industrial environment
  • Hands-on experience with blasting and spray-painting preparation (on mining mobile equipment preferred)
  • Strong understanding of prep work, surface cleanliness, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
  • Safety-focused and reliable team player
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence essential

(Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application is advantageous but not required.)
