Job Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Easyshed,
ensuring accurate financial reporting, planning, and analysis. You will manage a team,
collaborate with other departments, and support senior management in making strategic
financial decisions. This role is essential for the continued growth and financial success of the
company.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting & Analysis
o Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior
management.
o Perform variance analysis and ensure financial results are in line with
company targets.
o Monitor cash flow, profit margins, and cost control efforts.
o Provide detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
o Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department
heads.
o Ensure accurate, timely submission of budgets and forecasts.
o Regularly update forecasts to reflect changes in business conditions and
operational plans.
• Financial Strategy & Planning
o Assist in the development and execution of financial strategies to support the
company's growth.
o Provide strategic advice on financial decisions, including investments,
acquisitions, and cost optimization.
o Identify financial risks and recommend mitigations.
• Compliance & Audit
o Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and accounting
standards.
o Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure
compliance.
o Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
• Team Leadership
o Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of
high performance.
o Provide training and mentorship to enhance the team's financial knowledge
and skills.
o Set clear goals and objectives for the finance department.
• Collaboration
o Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, operations, HR) to ensure
alignment of financial strategies with business objectives.
o Support senior leadership in preparing business plans and proposals for growth
initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance managerial role, ideally within
manufacturing or retail industries.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial
analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite, Xero, SAP)
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
