About the Position:

The College of Education, Psychology and Social Work is seeking an Associate Lecturer in Education (Teaching Specialist) to contribute to the delivery and development of the Education topics, with a particular focus on Inclusive Education.

As an Associate Lecturer in Education, you will:

  • Contribute to the creation, coordination, and delivery of lectures, tutorials, and workshops.
  • Support students' academic progress, professional development, and career pathways.
  • Assist in the planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of curriculum materials, ensuring quality and compliance.

About You
You are an early-career academic passionate about student-centred teaching, innovation, and inclusive education. You thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments, bring energy and professionalism to your work, and are eager to make a meaningful impact on students and the discipline.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Completion of at least four years tertiary study and/or active candidature towards a doctoral qualification in Education or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence and contributions to curriculum development.
  • Experience applying innovative teaching approaches, including technology-enhanced learning.

  • In addition, it is a requirement of this position that the incumbent maintain a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA).
