The Position:

We are seeking a Treasury Dealer for our branch. The Treasury Dealer is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the Treasury function, with three principal activities being – Treasury Money Market and Foreign Exchange dealing and Business Unit Treasury Operations. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of Treasury activities. Responsibilities and duties of Treasury Dealer including, but not limited to:

  • Assist in the projecting daily cash positions, forecasting cash flows and executing short-term wholesale market liabilities.
  • Understand transactional banking systems for various financial products and assist in escalating on payment/settlement issues.
  • Oversee market risk management, including foreign currency positions and FX hedge book maintenance.
  • Monitor interest rate, market conditions, liquidity trends and government regulations.
  • Prepare inputs and contribute to ALCO reporting and provide administrative support as requested by the Treasury Manager.
  • Drive relationships with banks, investors and regulators.

Requirement:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  2. Basic knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
  3. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  6. A self-motivated and open-minded individual who enjoys building connections with others. Demonstrate a positive work ethic and contribute as an active team player.
  7. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
