A leading ASX-listed financial services group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team, supporting operations in Australia and Singapore. What You'll Do
As a Senior Financial Analyst within this highly respected financial services group's Strategy & Product Team, you will immerse yourself in a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly shape business outcomes. Your day-to-day activities will involve partnering with both finance professionals and senior leaders to deliver critical insights that inform strategic decisions. You will take ownership of complex forecasting cycles and business planning projects while supporting executive-level reporting requirements. By developing robust financial models and leveraging cutting-edge analytical tools, you will enable deeper understanding of product performance and market positioning. Your proactive approach to continuous improvement will see you identifying new opportunities for operational excellence. Success in this role requires not only technical proficiency but also outstanding interpersonal skills as you engage with diverse teams across the organisation.

  • Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners, Strategy teams, and senior business leaders to provide insightful decision support and effective finance business partnering.
  • Lead the project management of forecasting cycles and business planning processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting that supports strategic objectives.
  • Support Business Partners in preparing high-quality strategy and finance reports for presentation to executive leadership teams and board members.
  • Work alongside the Financial Control Team to ensure seamless financial operations, including close processes, actuals analysis, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics and the external environment impacting the corporate trust sector to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis with a continuous improvement mindset, identifying areas where efficiency or effectiveness can be enhanced.
  • Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated financial models and systems that underpin product competitiveness assessments, business impact evaluations, and profitability analyses.
  • Utilise advanced data analytical tools such as PowerBi and TM1 to deliver clear insights that drive informed decision-making across the organisation.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment on financial strategies while managing competing priorities effectively within tight deadlines.

What You Bring

  • At least five years' experience in senior analytical roles within enterprise finance or strategic analysis environments—ideally gained within financial services or Big Four consulting firms—demonstrating your ability to deliver impactful insights.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate reporting standards as well as planning and forecasting processes that underpin sound financial management.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce complemented by CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional accreditation which underpins your technical expertise.
  • Proficiency in modern ERP financial systems coupled with hands-on experience using advanced data analytics platforms such as PowerBi, TM1, and Microsoft PowerPoint for effective communication of complex information.
  • Exceptional Excel skills including advanced financial modelling capabilities that allow you to build robust frameworks for evaluating product profitability and business impact.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities enabling you to influence stakeholders at all levels while fostering positive working relationships built on trust and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with proven capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously within demanding time frames without compromising quality or accuracy.
  • Broad awareness of corporate trust products or willingness to rapidly acquire sector-specific knowledge through proactive learning initiatives.
