About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our dynamic team on a major infrastructure project in the Moranbah region. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale earthworks, road construction, and civil infrastructure projects with a leading contractor in the industry.

As the Civil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil works to ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day site engineering activities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project documentation.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Support the Site Manager and Project Manager in achieving project deliverables.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to company policies.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in civil or mining infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, and concrete structures.
  • Proficient with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Current driver's licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
