As our new Vendor Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and managing a portfolio of strategic Trade Partners, helping us deliver quality projects, drive innovation, and build long-term industry partnerships.
You will embody an Inspirational approach to work.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute strategies for your portfolio of Trade Partners to ensure alignment with upcoming projects.
- Lead master contract negotiations covering core terms and conditions.
- Oversee performance management across projects, with a focus on safety, quality, financials, capability, and capacity.
- Act as the escalation point for Trade Partner issues, driving resolution and continuous improvement.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support the evolution of our Trade Partner Engagement Framework, including policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Contribute to risk management, compliance, and business continuity planning.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in vendor management, procurement, or commercial roles - ideally with major contractors or in large-scale construction environments.
- Proven ability to develop and execute portfolio strategies, negotiate complex contracts, and manage supplier performance.
- Strong supply chain knowledge and established industry networks.
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Construction, or related fields are highly regarded.
